As For Appearances Sake Salon and Spa approaches its second year in River Forest, and celebrates 25 years in the salon spa industry, we have finally found ourselves a home. We love being part of the communities that surround our location.

The way the world has changed has inspired us to re-create the spa into a more private intimate environment. The economic climate has changed, so we are changing with it. Change is what has inspired new and unique salon spa promotions. Adding a second massage room and quiet area allows guests a place to retreat from day to day stress. Our idea is that you might not be able to get away to the spa resort of your choice, but we can create a space that brings that feeling to you for the day with plenty of parking in the back!

You can still bring in plastic caps for recycling, rinsed aluminum Cans for Critters for the Oak Park Animal Care League and receive a For Appearances Sake gift pack. Please note that we will be closed Saturday July 4th & Sunday July5th. Ask about our adjusted summer construction hours.

How to Help Us Recruit Stylist and Be Rewarded
Do you know an amazing stylist with a minimum of 3 years experience looking for a change? For Appearances Sake is looking for them! We’re looking to expand our hair styling department and you might be the next guest recruiter! Earn $500 in gift cards if you find our next hair stylist extraordinaire.

Just tell your stylist recruit to put your name on the application. If we hire him/her, you’ll receive a $100 gift card after their first 3 months, an additional $150 gift card after 6 months and $250 gift card on their 1 year anniversary. The cards can be used any way you choose: service, product or as gifts!
