We are sad to say For Appearances Sake Salon and Spa will be closing it's door at the end of the business day Saturday September 4, 2010. Reflecting on the economic downturn and slow moving recovery we all feel it is in our best interest and that of our guests to move on.
As a salon owner for almost 27 years, I never thought I'd choose to let the ship go down; with peace in my heart, I know it's time. You can be assured that we will make this an easy transition for ALL of us.

As for myself, I'm a hard one to put down. In spite of leaving River Forest, you will still see me at Animal Care League events, The Children's Clinic, and supporting the OPRF Chamber.
